Minneapolis

Minneapolis, Minnesota

Minneapolis, the largest city in Minnesota, sits along the Mississippi River. There are also 24 lakes within the city, which gives it its nickname “City of Lakes”. Minneapolis has great parks and neighborhoods, and a vibrant downtown. Whether citizens are relaxing down at the sidewalk cafes, taking advantage of its copious, diverse shops, or simply taking in an evening at the theater, it’s no wonder that this bustling half of the famed Twin Cities draws visitors from across the nation each year. Plus we will visit state institutions in Minnesota’s capitol city of St. Paul.

Sightseeing during your stay will include visits to Minneapolis Sculpture Garden, Institute of Arts, Farmers Market, Mill City Museum, Guthrie Theater, Walker Art Center, Foshay Tower, Weisman Art Museum, Cathedral of St. Paul, History Center, James J. Hill Mansion, Minnesota State Capitol, Museum of Russian Art, Wabasha Street Caves and of course the Mall of America.
